Juliet Austin

Juliet Austin is a career educator, writer and advocate for all children’s right to equal access to quality education. She views literacy as a powerful precursor to equality and social justice: a basic human right, not a privilege. Her work is grounded in a simple conviction that early exposure to language-rich environments, paired with warm, responsive caregiving, can transform a child’s life and learning, and open up opportunity across every level of society.

As part of LIFE’s team, Juliet has contributed to several of the organisation’s signature initiatives, including Thrive By Five, an early-years programme extending LIFE’s work to children from birth to age five, and Ready Set GROW, a parent programme supporting language and literacy development in the home.
